Implementing innovative solutions has been a key element of Tarczyński’s operations and development for years. Continuous development and optimization of the product portfolio remain priorities, taking into account changing consumer expectations and preferences. Product development is based on research and implementations conducted primarily within the company’s own R&D department.
One of the key areas of R&D activity is the development of proteins derived from various sources and in various forms.
The Company is working on, among other things, a multi-protein preparation intended to be an alternative to animal proteins. The product responds to evolving consumer preferences in the food market, including the growing importance of snacks that support a healthy diet.
Research and development will include product and process innovation. The project will result in the creation of an innovative production technology and a protein complex containing a composition of health-promoting peptides of animal origin, enriched with plant protein and polysaccharides.
The Company intends to independently produce a blend of proteins derived from peas and marine macroalgae. The initial product – resembling meat in structure – will be characterized by unique nutritional and health-promoting properties. The goal is to create a preparation that will contribute to reducing the risk of diet-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and atherosclerosis. Additionally, the preparation will demonstrate a high ability to enhance the flavour of cold cuts with an umami flavour.
